The road home didn’t lead through Targon, so it was very rare to find the bard here. Of course, ‘very rare’ does not mean impossible. And it was on one such night, near the base of the mountain, underneath an ancient aspen perched upon a boulder that we find her.
The campfire is glowing softly against the moonlight, the air filled with the sound of cicadas screaming, and of course, the bard’s instrument strumming a tune for nobody but her and the ghosts along the path.
