Other gods have chariots drawn by horses, deers, peacocks, lions, flying horses, tigers... so far so good, they are exotic divas, I get that.... BUT APHRODITE? Oh no she lets her doves draw her chariot for a minute or two and then she forces her sons to do the job

To continue on with my Erotes obsession, later in antiquity and in different versions, Eros’ twin brother Himeros. The Erotes are so interesting to me due to their messy background and parentages. Especially when there is a much older account of Eros.
