I want to put out there that cross dressing is totally fine, but slovenliness isn’t in my book. If you’re some twink and you want to put on a dress, do it, but don’t let your knobbly knees and concave chest be featuring. Put in the work and smooth those edges out.

And I know that that’s an unfairly higher level of scrutiny than the straights have to deal with, but pretending that this community isn’t under a magnifying glass serves no one in it. We have our enemies, but we have the innocently curious and tentatively eager who can be won over. We have to be excellent.

Anyways, the straights shouldn’t be a standard for you. They are largely comfortable, meaning sloppy, uninspired and uninspiring. Our queerness puts us in a unique position to stun and amaze with things that haven’t been seen before. And a hastily thrown on men’s dress shirt isn’t that.

So I keep seeing you post stuff about Ten Inch Hero. I'd never heard of it, but because of all your posts (and Jensen Ackles, because DUH Jensen Ackles) I just finished watching it on Netflix. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the inadvertent movie recommendation lol. It was fantastic :]

I'd never heard of it until Tumblr and I was hesitant to watch it (what with the name being Ten-Inch Hero, I didn't really know what I was in for :P) but then I watched it and was like OH MY GOD THANK YOU TUMBLR GODS FOR MAKING ME WATCH THIS GLORIOUS MOVIE!!

In response to your anon about Obamacare and why many Americans are unhappy: Many people in the US are ignorant to the fact (or ignore it) that to get more they're first going to have to give more. And Obamacare comes with the stipulation that everyone is required to pay for healthcare, so that everyone can receive healthcare. If I'm not mistaken, in the short run it will plunge us further into debt, but in the long run it will help pull us out. If everyone pays a little, everyone gets a lot.
