wait wait wait wait maybe im overanalyzing but hear me out
The length of "No matter how I look at it, it's not my fault" aka the ending theme song for Watamote, has the exact same digits in order (4:06) as the https error code for the unacceptable requested source "406".
As seen in the first screenshot, when you get error code 406, it means whatever you requested cannot be accepted into the server because it's a source that only generates content that is deemed "unacceptable" according to the Accept headers in said request and thus violates content negotiations.
Tomoko is an "unpopular girl" at her school, as she is supposedly an awkward, friendless, perverted, unattractive, creepy otaku, which completely contradicts of what traits a typical popular & pretty student would have, and instead aligns with what traits a disrespected loner would have, or in other words, the traits she has are too "unacceptable" to be viewed as "popular" by her peers.
The lyrics also support this, technically speaking, as they're basically describing Tomoko herself as the class loner and also her self-hatred for herself, and (kinda) views herself as "unacceptable" by self-loathing.
I genuinely wonder if this was intentional or just a pure coincidence.
(this is my third watamote related post in a day wtf-)
