Is there a sequel to Home Economics? Maybe by another author?

I remember a few weeks ago opening a fic that started with Shane and Ilya planning for a way for Ilya to stay in North America after something going wrong with his contract following their months playing in Switzerland during the lockout.

After a few paragraphs, I understood it was a sequel and that I preferred reading Home Economics first. I finally did, but I see there are no sequels listed. So, where is it??? XD

THAT BEING SAID. the first two fics in this series have a similarrrrr concept to home economics (takes place during the lockout) and that miiight be what you're remembering??

Heyyy, I need help and maybe you can save me here?! 🙏😍

I’m looking for a fic and I absolutely cannot find it again. It’s a canon divergence: Ilya never goes to the cottage, and they end up meeting again (I think) about 20 years later, both of them are single dads, and their kids end up at the same hockey camp.

Does that ring any bells for you? I’d love to read it. I’m an absolute sucker for aged-up, single-dad, second-chance fics 😭🥰

I just read this one recently, so it is the only one I can think of. I am sure you will like this fic, even if it is not the one you are looking for. Additionally, this fic is a pretty long read, so it definitely keeps you busy.

I feel like I have read so many dad fics for these two that they have all merged together, so I am uncertain if this is the one you are looking for.

hello!! looking for a fic and what i remember mainly is that dan and phil are on the isle of man with the lesters. phil's dad draws a sketch of the two of them at two separate occasions, once with phil looking at dan while dan does something, and the other with dan looking at phil while phil does something (i think chopping???) and dan asked phil's dad to draw one of the two drawings. they also go to the beach, and it starts raining at some point, and they do some steamy stuff in the car they took to the beach. appreciate all that you do!!!
