(So, I'm totally settled on the idea that Eruadan was Alena's real dad and he never told her. 

One because he didn't want to deal with the shame of having an illigitimate child both outside of the Alfur race AND before marriage. 

TWO. He could never face telling Alena that he basically banged her mother a few times and then left. He thought she'd leave him and search for her mother... Who he came to realise is bad news. Very bad.)

i enjoyed it a lot more when i pretended it was a standalone game tbh

i'm just gonna have to try and think this way tbh. i've been playing for like 4 hours and i've only met some templars and had a brief fight with some assassins, thats about it for the actual assassin plot lol

Yes the Shanties are the best part of traveling, and Kidd is just a Sassy Mc Sassypants so fun, the sea Hunting stuff gets a bit gory though

yeah if they didn't have the shanties i'd find the sailing really boring lol and i love kidd so much omg. i read somewhere that you have to do whaling? i'm not looking forward to that at all.

ahhh i hope so! i am enjoying it i just wish there was more to tie in with the other games, maybe the absence of desmond isn't helping idk
