In Granblue, can you explain the difference between Humans, Erunes, and Draphs?
The humans are well--like us in real life. They are creative and productive in most aspects of society in the Granblue universe along with other species. They have potential for magic and train themselves to superhuman levels of strength like Soriz for instance. Gran (or Djeeta) are a special case of a ‘human’. They are often known as the Singularity, which will be a story for another time.
Erunes are human-like people with furry animal ears and in some rare cases have tails. They have a natural talent for magic and spells, making them superior than humans in terms of magical knowledge and skill. People like Metera and Yuel are praised for their abilities. Metera is extremely talented to the point where she is a quick learner, so practically everything comes easy to her. She can give many characters a run for their money.
Draphs are people with horns at the side of their head. It’s stated in the glossary that they magically challenged, meaning they have great difficulty performing magic like Erunes do. However, they are well-known for their physical attributes and stamina. The one Draph who stands out the most is Vaseraga because he wields a Seal Weapon, Grynoth. That weapon is used to hunt Primal Beasts, godlike living weapons of mass destructions. The fact that he is immune to pain and he wields such a weapon, he could give even someone like Belial, who is also Primal, a run for his money, depending on circumstances.
