In some ways, this place wasn’t so different from home. At least in the sense that it was a constantly bustling city, and that the citizenry came in many different shapes and sizes. If anything, it was the more plain ones that gave him cause to pause. Before, it was rare he had ever seen someone without any animal or inhuman features. Now, they were the majority of what he came across.
Still, he kept his curious glances brief. It wasn’t anything of much consequence, in the end. After his own horn had attracted a few too-long stares, it seemed only polite to not follow the same example.
In fact, he hardly paid anyone any mind until he was in the train station and peering at maps from behind a crowd. He only did it for a moment, though, before frowning and deciding they were too far to bother.
That left one quicker option; setting a hand on a nearby shoulder to get someone’s attention.
“The shopping district. Do you know which sector it’s in?”
