“ILLUMINAUGHTY”

Static Medium on James M. Wood Blvd. in Los Angeles has built an enviable reputation photographing art for fine artists and illustrators, and producing quality prints. Tristan Eaton and Esao Andrews began 2015 with this January wall for the front of the operation, Eaton commenting that he essentially provided the wardrobe for Esao’s beautiful features. A School of Visual Arts illustration grad, originally from East Mesa, Arizona, Esao is a relatively newcomer to working on walls. He told Contrast Magazine about some of the challenges with the transition and credits Eaton with helping him out “with tricks and pointers.” When the two were done with “Illuminaughty” they worked with Static Medium to produce and sell a limited edition giclée print of the work—and a few lucky recipients got versions of the print with additional hand embellishment by the artists. @tristaneaton @esao @contrastmag @staticmedium @scenesfromthesidewalk
