Oh man, this is tough. But I shall try, though this will by no means be a comprehensive list! In no particular order:
wardolope/thisissirius (I love her prose, and the stories she tells, and the way they move me)
formerlydf (I haven't even read much of her fic at all, but holy crap the stuff I've read was just incredible. I don't even really know how to explain it, but everything just flowed perfectly and was incredibly moving)
ellot (lovely, lovely writing, and great characters)
carrole (she can write things that no one else can!)
indecentexposed (lovely writing and all the feelings)
4. Five favorite stories?
HAHAHAHA I'M NOT SURE YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I READ. For serious, though, I could give you five "favorite" stories from what I've read this week. Actually, I'm just going to do that. For shits and giggles. Again, in no particular order:
Second Person Plural by alexandraptor. AI RPF, Katy/Kris/Adam, PG-13. Really, it's just super charming and adorable.
the stars and sea, by formerlydf. Figure Skating RPF, Johnny/Evan. I know next to nothing about this fandom or this pairing, but I had a lot of feelings.
(this is) not a statement by seperis. AI RPF, Kris/Adam, NC-17 (I think). My pinboard summary for this is "what do I usually do with my hands," so, you know, a lot of feelings and joy and :D
watch the lights go wild by amysnakehole. TSN, Mark/Eduardo, PG-13. Five people the press thought Mark was dating and one he actually was. Super charming.
the fairytale of silicon valley by wardolope. TSN, Mark/Eduardo, R for themes (not sex). Eduardo runs to Mark's side (probably against his better judgement). Lots of feelings.
15. Give me five ways to win you over with a fic!
Good prose. I cannot even emphasize this enough, omg. If the story has good prose, I will slog through so much other crap. I will read things I know nothing about just to appreciate the prose.
Character development. I like it when people change and learn more about themselves!
Pining, oh my gosh. I have such a weakness for pining. And the pining doesn't necessarily mean that they're not together in some form, just that they want more from the relationship than they're getting. See: enjoyment of fake dating/fake married and soulbonding tropes. Or just straight-up pining. Writing this is making me want to reread pining fic.
A lot of feelings. Whether it's the characters having them, or the story creating them in me, I don't care. If a lot of feelings are had, I will probably enjoy the story.
Idiots who don't realize they're in love with each other. I have no explanations for this, but I love it a lot.
