If Matador Gothic was written by Marvel screenwriters there would have been a big musical swell when Alfonso asked The Guest to step into the sunlight to prove she was human, then the music would abruptly stop when she did and she'd burn her skin and Alfonso would be like "well, that just happened". Immediately after the real final villain would appear, who would have twice the power of Scythus and half the character development.

He would grow wings and fly away and Alfonso would be like "THEY FLY NOW?".
