Never in a million years would Jess Mariano have guessed that he would be a best-selling author. For a kid who grew up with nothing, this really wasn’t  a bad change of events. The media was all over him --- interviews, photoshoots, book signings, everything and anything that had to do with The Subsect. Today  was no different, as the boy waited for yet another journalist to join him at the  coffeehouse and ask him the same questions he had answered what seemed  like a million times before. ----- Seeing HER? Now that was quite a surprise. He shouldn’t have been taken aback ( of course rory had went on to live out her  dreams; if he could, she sure as hell was bound to. ) but then again, Rory  Gilmore never did fail to amaze him.

        “Rory. Wow, I --- It’s good to see you.             If I had known you were gonna be my             reporter today I would’ve ordered at             least another three cups of coffee ---             All for you, of course. You look good.”
