I'm really happy with what I've seen of your policies regarding queer/trans issues, user safety, and accessibility to disabled users, as a non-binary disabled queer person myself. What I worry about is how issues regarding race will be handled, and what the staff's stand on racial issues is, since I'm also a poc and most of the friends I have on tumblr are also disabled qtpoc, including my girlfriend. Thanks!

Race is an important issue for the staff at Inkstand. That said, as a white staff, we don't have any place to be speaking on the issues of people of color. As such, we have two policies that we'll be holding to.

We, as an organization, will be listening to people of color about issues that affect people of color.

We will be taking on people of color as we expand in the future, as paid staff and/or volunteers. Diversity among the Inkstand staff, as well as our community, is critical to us.

It happens, but sometimes it's not avoidance? Sometimes you just really get a break from pain and stuff. Those moments of joy can still be pretty real even if then you go back to being miserable.

You know, that makes an awful lot of sense. 

I guess I'm still seeing things in a super "all or nothing" kind of mindset.
