Hone Your Craft. Here's a tip on being a photographer: when there's nothing going on and no gigs to furfill, ALWAYS find something you can shoot... Anything you have. Yeah, you can 'take a break' but spending your time practicing and honing your photography skills will always pay itself off three fold. I just spent the entire morning in the park just photographing this @eskimopower Solar Charger that I bought a year ago. Working strickly with natural light, I tried different setups and angles using only the tools I had taken with me. I may not have been paid to photograph this product but when the time comes when I do have a gig for a product, I'm that much more ahead of the curve to produce images for a client. Practice.
