Studying for my calc 3 exam and I had a nightmare that I was trying to solve something weird like x²+ 4x + 9 = e^x² + e and I don't remember what my strategy was but you know natural logs were involved. My professor walks by looks at my paper and goes " oh in this situation e is actually a variable" and I was so mad I woke up

ive been playing through silksong with the encouragement of my brother and one day i was like hey... whenever i say "i can't do this" you always say "yes you can." have you ever been lying or have you always believed i could get through it? (im bad at videogames in case u couldnt tell) and he turned very seriously to me and said 'hollow knight doesnt require you to be good. the only thing you need to win the game is to not stop playing it. and there is no one in the world i know more stubborn than you.'

anyway taking that energy into the rest of the day. I'm the most stubborn person in the world to my brother (positive)

saw a rat eating out of our window bird feeder at 2 am. it was raining and he was so small and quiet but for a moment the bird feeder was a safe place for him to be. i sat in the kitchen in the dark for a long time and watched him until he wandered off onto his next adventure. idk. a rat in a bird feeder hiding from the rain.

*whispering to myself as i try to email my academic advisor* fear is the mind killer. fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. i will permit it to pass through me and over me. when it is gone i will turn the inner eye to see its path. where the fear is gone there will be nothing. only i will remain.
