In 2023 I simply started to post some bsd doodles and stuff without much thoughts. Soon, people actually started to follow these even though it can often be nothing but low quality pen doodles. But today in 2026, people still seem interested in my work and I even got to join a few zine projects (after several rejections too of course) and met some adorable persons! A lot happened in those small three years and I wouldn't be where I am without everyone's support, online and in person at cons.

HUHZAAAW! Tis finally finished, at long last, after a sleepless night of sweet sweet ✨inspiration✨I present my contribution to one of my new favourite artist’s DTIYS contest <3

A huge congrats to making it to 8k @esmiara! I only recently found you, but your art fills a nice big chunk of my soul, so I just had to enter to show my appreciation. I experimented with many a new technique for this one—never thought of drawing bubbles like that—so I can’t thank you enough for inspiring me to improve. You’re use of colour is magical, I cannot wait to see more ^v^

I draw mainly in the manga style of bsd, so I thought i’d add in my black & white. Let's title it swimming with the fishes! The fish being mackerel, and the mackerel being Dazai 🐟

esmiara’s DTIYS: My Entry!!

My submission to @esmiara’s DTIYS challenge!

I like how it turned out, but by god this was a struggle. First time drawing something underwater… and redrew Dazai entirely over four times. This was meant to be a full comic (the lineart was already done, too ߹𖥦߹)… but I didn’t like it and thought this on its own would be better.

After months of work on and off… I’m finally done with my piece for @esmiara ‘s DTIYS!!

This one was… really tough. I pushed myself a lot with it, and forced myself to change up my usual style. I havent drawn digitally consistently for a while, but I’m trying to get back into it, and this challenge really inspired me! So i figured I’d actually start post my art again.

I did take a lot of creative liberties with posing/expressions on this, and the bubbles drove me INSANE, but I hope you like it nonetheless!

Full piece + lineart, as well as @esmiara ‘s original under the cut (the speedpaint is wayyy too long so I needa figure out how to condense it…))
