( pls DO NOT use my gifs. No repost, no remove my own title and description. Reblog if you like it.Thank you.)
At Mithrava, we found First Sage Esmus. He explained that the angaran people believe in reincarnation, and that our best chance of finding the lost monolith is to find a reincarnated angara previously known as Zorai, now known as Taavos. It’s possible that Taavos has the memory of the location locked away in his mind, but it will need to be unlocked.
Two complications: we need to find an artifact that was Zorai’s in life in order for Taavos to build a connection to his past life, and Taavos is one of the Roekaar.
I’m sure he’s going to love finding us on his doorstep. Here’s hoping we can avoid all killing each other long enough to get the artifact in his hands and make him remember who he was.
First Sage Esmus: “The soul grows through many lifetimes. By seeing through different eyes, it gains wisdom.” Ryder: “How do you grow if you don’t remember?” First Sage Esmus: “The growth of the soul is not like the growth of the mind. Memories are not required for the soul to develop. Some even argue that old memories are an unwelcome distraction. A person may become fixated on what was, and their soul consequently stagnates.”
