🍟 — Talk about another writeblr’s WIP that everyone should check out!

I admit, I haven’t been keeping up with a lot of WIPs as of late because, you know, school is a monster, but I recently came across @farrradays‘ When the Night Falls and fell in love. The characters, their dynamics, the story world - go check it out, you will not be disappointed!

🥓 — Tell you why everyone would love my WIPs!

I mean, who doesn’t love soft friendships that grow between unsuspecting opposites and loving, healthy relationships between huge nerds who help each other see just how loved they are? 

Or prose that takes your hand and shows you something you hadn’t noticed before? Something that is both familiar and brand new at the same time? A way of looking at something you’ve seen for so long it’s slipped into the background, that now feels brand new?

Or pining? Lots and lots of pining. And softness. And social commentary. And dry humor. And disaster characters who try really hard. And grumpus characters with hearts too big for their chests. And lots and lots of good good feels.

🍔 — Tell you a writeblr that I admire!

@ren-c-leyn!!!! I don’t know how they don’t have a bajillion followers yet because they are so goddamn worthy. Go follow them immediately. I promise you all the best content, caring and careful prose, poetry that tugs at your heart and your imagination in turn, and just a seriously great human being behind it all.

okay, okay. @idreamonpaper is the Sweetest!!! she’s such a positive person whom i love seeing on my dash/in my inbox. her WIPs are l o v e l y. personally, i’ve been very into Fool’s Gold atm??? mostly bc Icarus is a Disaster Baby & i love him. but From the Shadows is amazing as well!!! if you don’t follow her already pls do!!!!

let’s do @queenie-dragon!!! picking one of hers is very difficult, but she announced a new one (relatively) recently thats e x t r e m e l y intriguing. it’s called The Thing About Heroes, & the narrator is just,,, aaaah. i’m so interested to see how it plays out!!! & to learn more about it!!!

as someone who suffers from Chronic Shyness this is unfortunately quite a few people.

@marie-writess and i have spoken a few times, usually through replies, though mostly it’s been an endless series of (fun!!!) tag games :D however, she’s a lovely person & i’m super excited to hear more about her WIP, & maybe,,, be a little less shy and interact more :D

What are people's first impressions of Evelyn?

Fuuuck i forgot to save the fucking draft fuuuckkkk

Evelyn, at first, comes off as cold and emotionally detached from every situation. She does this mostly to protect others from the dangers of her life, which I’ll explain eventually. Most people think she’s a punk and tends to stay away from her except for a few certain people. She has a resting bitch face, so people also think she’s an asshole.

But really, she’s kind to most people, but has a low tolerance for stupidity and bullshit. She is also fiercely protective of the people she cares for, which includes mythical and non-mythical creatures. She is also artistic, she painted the back panel of the black jean jacket she wears. It is a large bee, because her favorite color is yellow and she just loves bees. (Save the bees!!!)

She is the guardian of the mythical creatures, making sure their existence stays hidden from the humans. She herself is half-human, half-something i havent decided yet. She wears a ring which disguises her as human, but if she takes it off then her true form comes out.

Hello, Undine!! I'm currently working on new character portraits since the only ones on my blog are a bit outdated, and I'm really excited to put them up once they're done
