The biggest issue about learning a gendered language as an nb person is not knowing how to refer to myself
#I'm currently learning German and French#they don't teach you how queer folks refer to themselves in language classes#esp beginner ones#I understand why but it still makes me kinda frustrated#onion text#I've just decided to go along with however my profs perceive me to be#and just be slightly uncomfortable#maybe I'll be brave and ask them about it in the future but it's whatever rn 🤷
