For the Swapped Fates AU, what are the changes of mpd and detective boys interaction? Like, in canon they'll go ask info from Takagi and Takagi sometimes pick Conan up so he can see better (or is this in anime original episode, Idk). Is Date the one who do this now?
Also does Hiro also have a burning hatred for Akai? Or is it more tame than Rei? He's also probably isn't as sad/depressed as Rei in canon because he still has Date, Hagiwara, Matsuda, and Takaaki
Oh speaking of which, what happens when Hiro meet Takaaki in a case? Does Takaaki immediately connect the dots that he's undercover? Because in canon, Takaaki only knows after he receive Hiro's phone
In Swapped Fates au, there are a lot and I mean a lot of changes with how the MPD characters interact with the detective boys. Since Sato and Takagi are dead in this au it's Matsuda and Date who the kids turn to.
Although they aka Conan mostly go to Matsuda for information since he's more willing to share information with the kids compared to Date who is trying and failing to keep the kids away from the crime scenes.
Matsuda enjoys the energy and concerning enthusiasm these kids have towards detective work, while he isn't active encouraging the kids to do this (he's reckless not stupid) he is sorta 'mentoring' these kids.
Date on the other hand does NOT want these kids getting wrapped up in any kind of cases, especially Conan who while tries to keep the other kids away from cases, is actively getting into cases himself.
However he does occasionally slip up and talk to Conan about information relating to the case he's working on, when he does realise it's Conan next to him not Takagi he immediately tells the kid off.
Conan and the kids are confused at the occasional switch in attitude, but Matsuda's aware why Date slips around Conan so much.
He still hasn't gotten over his death yet and he can't blame him, it was all too sudden.

Hiromitsu while he doesn't show it absolutely despises Akai, however he is in a way much more tame compared to Canon!Rei.
And yes he isn't as sad/depressed like him because he has his brother and the rest of his friends but he is upset about Rei's death.
Hiromitsu doesn't directly chase after or try to uncover Akai being Subaru aggressively like Canon!Rei. He does things his own way which is to do excessive research on the older's background (much like how he was in the wild police academy episodes).
So instead of confrontation Subaru immediately, he first did some research about Akai's background.
He does do all the confrontation like Canon!Rei does with Subaru but instead of it being him trying to get him to confess being Akai, it's more of observation to see what can make Akai panic.
