Well, yeah, because our previous hobby has been butchered. I'm glad you moved on from a game you liked within half a year. That says a lot about the quality of the game.

But don't shit on people who are devastated by it ("learn how to read"). I was a fan for 15 years, and this story dragged me through the darkest moments of my life. I don't need to be shamed for being disappointed. I can be disappointed as much as I want.

Block the "veilguard critical" tag, and you have peace. Or at least tag your own post appropriately with the game tag so filters can do their thing, and it would have never shown up on my dash. Learn to coexist, man.

first of all. are YOU, random citizen, foaming at the mouth about how much you hate datv, to the point of other people being concerned for your mental well-being? to the point of harassing and doxxing people who dare to enjoy the game or, god forbid, harassing THE DEVS? or endorsing said harassment? No? Then you need not feel offended by my post. I have said, numerous times, that I understand why some people would be disappointed by this long-awaited game from a beloved franchise not meeting their expectations. I’ve been there, too. Everyone has their feelings and opinions, and far be it from me to tell other people how to feel. There is, however, a huge difference between being disappointed and going on a crusade. And it is important to spot when that line is crossed, especially with your own actions. That is what the sentiment behind my post was. ‘getting a hobby’ in this case means focusing on something you enjoy, and maybe developing the emotional maturity to realize that people have different opinions, and sometimes it is not because they are dumb or evil or wrong, but just because…they are not you. Yeah, it sucks to not get what you expected. But such is life. Shit happens!

I am not more right or wrong for liking datv than you are for being disappointed by it. It is not about your feelings on the game. It is about the actions people choose to take when they chew this bone too much.

Second of all. The thing that put a slight pause in my latest period of dragon age fixation was my replay of DAI. So yea, it does say a lot about the quality of the game. It’s just not the game you think. (not saying DAI is bad and irredeemable. I can acknowledge when a game is solid, even if I personally do not enjoy it.)

Third of all. I have had several variations of that tag AND several people blocked for months now. And yet. Did not expect my post to get more than like, 5 likes or something, and i did not want to clutter the tag unnecessarily. But sure, i can tag it properly. Thanks for the heads up!

Hello! Thanks for the ask in my inbox, I never really get many of those! Most of my information gathered on Toji is from the Jujutsu Kaisen Wiki itself, where it is quoted several times that Toji changed upon being with Mamaguro, and then subsequently reverted back to old ways. Also, it was mostly speculative when I said he'd never move on! After all, we see in manga and in anime that as Toji is dying, he thinks back to his ex-wife and son. After seeing that, and reading more about his character, that is where I came up with the speculation that Toji wouldn't move on, especially once you consider how many grudges he holds. This isn't canon by any means but I always like to analyze characters and think about choices they would make! Sorry you didn't like the conclusion I came to! Hopefully you have a lovely day and I hope you feel better! I know it can be so easy to spread hateful ideas and words, especially anonymously. And the internet is full of conflicting ideas and such that you may not agree with, and that's ok! But I do hope that you feel better and less hateful in the future!
