I guess for Taka or Chihiro it was kinda normal to see Takaaki and Taichi in each other's houses before they got married. I mean, they'd go over as much as they could and it was kinda normal for the two to see their parent and the other. They got out of the awkward "What are you doing here?" stage to "Hello, Taichi/Takaaki."

They already kinda just saw them as their step-dad after like 2 years of dating. They wouldn't say it outright, but they just kinda felt that way.

They'd just wonder why it took them so damn long to get married already. They already started acting like they were, just needed to actually be married. It kinda upset the teens, but hey, slow and steady, they guessed.

Today i found this picture and something caught my eye. The card Chihaya is holding her favourite card so it isn't very surprising but neither anime nor manga mentioned Taichi having a favourite card. Out of curiosity i checked which card is on the picture and apperantly the full poem from it can be translated like this:

It is true I love,  But the rumor of my love  Had gone far and wide,  When people should not have known  That I had begun to love.
