So, I already love Olag as a monstrous figure on a classical horror plane who was created as an agent of destruction but wants to be anything except that.

Ludevic wanted obedience and instead he got a thinking, feeling person who questioned him, and for that Olag was punished. Their epithet is “Ludevic’s Hubris”, and I like to think that reflects the arrogance Ludevic had in creating a new person and believing he could control them. Another reminder that “monsters” can be kind, care for others, and think for themselves—no matter what they were originally created for. (Yes, this is about Phyrexians, sue me.)

(Side note: I am concerned for them and their knife feet. How do they walk???)

You are really really damn cool

Okay so most Phyrexian praetors have an ability that gives you some benefit, then another ability that gives the opponent the opposite of that benefit. But Urabrask, Heretic Praetor does it differently, giving the opponent a similar effect, but turned bad. The coolest part is that while the normal praetors punish the opponent for playing the same strategy you're using, Heretic Urabrask's ability is actually less painful if the opponent is playing a similar strategy, which I feel fits better with how Phyrexians want to force others to join them. So anyway, I made altered versions of all the praetors (except Sheoldred, the Apocalypse because that one was really hard to corrupt).
