I routinely think about how Espio would even handle processing finding out Metal actually likes him. Like genuinely likes him.

He’d probably be in a lot of denial tbh.

Being like “There’s no way it ever could have genuine interest in me. It has to be a trick and that’s it.”

Metal wouldn’t really help with it constantly sending mixed signals.

The urge to write a full fledge Chroma Key fic is actually killing me.

Cause I’m already working on two fics right now. And can’t handle a third one at this moment.

But it’s like- there’s no way to fully cover and satisfy myself with exploring Chroma Keys dynamic in a one shot or even two shot.

I NEED that deep emotional slow burn. Cause THATS THE WHOLE APPEAL OF THEM.

I need that multi chapter rollercoaster of emotions and angst and hurt and comfort and AAAAAAAAA

So like a while ago I saw like people freaking out and getting mad about one of Espio’s lines in Crossworlds.

Y’know being like “He wouldnt fucking say that!” And “This is OOC for him to say!”

And it’s like…I can see what they mean. And I do agree it’s OOC for him.

But I have Chroma Key brain and found it extremely fucking funny if anything. I was just kinda giggling at it when I saw it.

Chroma Key fankid incoming! Meet Nexus!

Nexus is a cheeky lil thing. The only child to Espio and Metal, Nexus runs the news club at the fankid school. Only it’s actually a secret gossiping club they use to kick up trouble among students and staff. They are definitelyyyyy a conflict starter. Thriving off of conflict and attention and rumors.
