HEY Y’ALL, I’m back with more free Angels adopts! :D
Just like last time, these are essentially stock Angels (more info on that group can be found here, btw), which I’m giving out for free to anyone to use for and within the group! I’ve made one for each of the Angels’ nine squadrons (more about those here, three headcanons down), and for this fourth batch I decided to theme them (loosely) after various Sci-Fi franchises other than Star Wars! Like I said, each one is free for you to make into an Angel, so just message me if you’re interested and I’ll be happy to give you one!

If you’re interested in purchasing a character, you can send me an ask or a Tumblr message, or you can reach me at [email protected], and we’ll discuss the details. These are of course open to anyone and everyone, including people who already have characters made for the Angels group.
As you can see above, each of these is available for absolutely free, on the condition that you join the Devaron’s Angels group and make your new OC a character for that. If you’d rather use them for something else, however, you can also pay the full price (either $35, $40, or $45, depending on how the adopt is priced above) and get them for any other use. I’ll only accept money through PayPal, so please only ask to buy one if that works for you.
Once you claim your character, I’ll send you a version with no watermark, and you’ll be free to use them! Feel free to tweak their design however you want to—new outfits, minor physical changes, etc.—but if it’s all the same to you, please link back to my Tumblr blog if you post the image I give you anywhere.
The adopts are first come/first serve, but do be warned that, if you choose the non-Angel buyout option and you fail to pay within 24 hours, I will re-list the character.
I’m limiting sales to no more than two adopts per person, with only one of those two being a free one. The second you’ll have to pay for, but as my adopt sets usually go, you can get the second one for 25% off the list price.
(Mutuals Only) If you’re interested in paying full price for a character (that is, to make them anything other than an Angel), you can also pay for the adopt with a commission of equal value! It was quite a harsh week, but I’ve managed to finish the drawing requests! Thank you all for letting me borrow your lovely characters. :> I have originally planned to take more, but since finishing these took me over two weeks already, I had to cut the final number of portraits down to seven. To all of you whose character was not featured - I might do this again later this year, stay tuned! :V

Raubek is an adaption of my old gem OC, Red/Black Opal, and she’s here to ruin everything
Backstory : During the Clone Wars, Raubek was a highly sought after Jedi who was exceptionally skilled in Force healing. Along with her extensive knowledge in medicine and alien biology, she had keen interest in experiments that could better one's physical state. Most experiments she held were benign on the surface, but like many, she had her secrets, and preferred them to remain that way. Out of the public's and the Jedi Order's sight, she would carry out a number of painful, unethical and cruel experiments on anyone and anything she could get her hands on. Despite this, she did believe she was doing the right thing, as her experiments often granted the desired results. If ever asked, she never gave a full answer as to where or how she was able to create new medicines and treatments so efficiently. No one would understand, after all. Why tell them what they'd probably prefer not to know?

Upon the commotion brought up during the time when ARC Trooper Fives made an attempt at the Chancellor's life, Raubek had been listening, watching. Not much of anything went on without her knowing about it. She made it her business to know, possibly out of habit. She grew curious of the clone's allegations toward Palpatine, and about the plot to destroy the Jedi Order. In secret, she carried out her own research on a few deceased clones, along with one live one. Unspeakable deeds passed, and she discovered the whole truth, but not without consequence. The living clone she had been hiding managed to escape while she was away. Before Raubek could even think to destroy the evidence of her work, the clone returned, armed and accompanied by his Jedi general, who demanded she turn herself in for her crimes. But the lab, the experiments, they were hers and hers alone. She wasn't about to let all her work go to waste. Sabers ignited, and they fought. Raubek was in a frantic state of rage and panic, swinging her blade violently at her assailant while doing all she could to keep the fight away from her research. Against another Jedi Master and the clone, she began to falter, unsure of she would prevail. But she remembered her research, how she had combed the facilities on kamino and discovered that key phrase that would end it all. She ran down the corridors of her lab, causing the other Jedi and the clone to give chase. Just as enough distance was built up, she managed to duck into a corner hide herself away in an room unknown to the other two. The duo turned the corner, fining nothing but a dead end.
"That's quite enough," bellowed Raubek's voice, seemingly from all directions as she spoke through speakers. "Execute order 66."
The Jedi suddenly found himself taking a blaster bolt directly through the chest, and his legs gave out beneath him. His last moments were filled with pain, confusion, and the sight of his comrade pointing a blaster at his face.
Once the deed had been done, the clone suddenly felt the life being choked from him. Raubek appeared behind him, her arm raised with a clenched fist as she did away with the final witness.
"You should be proud, soldier," she whispered in his ear as he struggled to breathe, "you've fulfilled your purpose."
For the moment, Raubek was safe, but she was furious. The lengths she had gone to in order to discover the truth about the Clone Army's purpose had gone not only unrewarded, but her fellow Jedi had attempted to kill her because of it. How dare he take the clone's words over her own? She knew deep down that the rest of the order would react the same if they found out. A burning, seething hatred began growing inside her as she renounced her oath and cursed the Jedi name. She desired appreciation for her work, and she new where she would find it.
She covered up her misdeeds, leaving no evidence that she was to blame for the Jedi and clone's deaths. She kept a low profile for the following months, continuing to do the Order's bidding for the time being. When she finally had the opportunity, she called for a private meeting with the Chancellor under the guise of wanting to discuss details on a new medicine she had been developing for public use. Once they were alone, however, she laid all her findings on the table. Quite literally, in fact. Before a single word was exchanged between them, Raubek placed a canister containing one of the clone's brain chips onto the Chancellor's desk. Once Palpatine realized what the item was, his innocent facade immediately faded. He could see it in her eyes- the look of fearlessness, someone who intends to find results. But she didn't carry hostility with her, and as she took her seat, the conversation began. She told the tale of her discoveries, from beginning to end, going over every little detail. The Chancellor held his hands locked together in front of his face, elbows resting on the table as she spoke. Surprised as he was at this revelation, he retained his confident and regal demeanor. She had come to him alone, had not told another soul of her discoveries, and wasn't looking for a fight.
"What do you plan to do now, Master Pa'ul?" He asked, his voice calm, yet gravelly. "You have all the proof you need to destroy everything I've set in motion, yet instead you chose to come here." His hands lowered from his face, and his chilling gaze stung Raubek to the core. "What is it you want?"
She leaned back in her chair as she spoke. "My dear Chancellor, I don't wish for your plans to fail. You see, we now share a common enemy." Her lips curled into a smile. She returned his cold stare with one all her own, her voice full with resolve. "Today, I'm only hoping to make a friend, and to ensure my place in your future Empire."
After that day, she continued her duties as a Jedi until the time would come for it all to end. As Order 66 was brought into full swing, she was spared. She became one of the first Inquisitors, and was then dubbed "The First Sister." And with the Empire now backing her medical studies, success flourished. She was able to take more risks, have more disposable test subjects, do whatever she needed to do in order to get the desired results. She even took a younger Inquisitor under her wing, training him to be the perfect Jedi killer. Her life was good and easy for a long time, never having to worry about a thing. The Empire was strong, no rebellion in sight, but then things began to change. The Grand Inquisitor was killed, and she was the next in line of command. The boy she had trained for years, whom she had considered to be like a son to her, ran away without a word. And of course, she would be the one tasked with either retrieving him, or silencing him. Her life suddenly felt like it was falling apart, but she would do what needed to be done to regain stability, no matter the cost.
Sketched an Espirion Jedi. He's something more of a guardian than an active-duty Knight, but he can and will get to the bottom of things well-before his peers, thanks (in part) to a penchant for Force-assisted foresight.
