the ranks vs the granks
today was such a good day. like, first of all i feel lighter after saying all that last night, and i had such kind people respond to me, which really filled my heart. also i did really well on a project + presentation, i got my field placement secured, had dinner w my sister, and vidchatted the rest of the sibs. i’m full of light.
me, a simple crackle barrow worker: smiling genuinely all the time, maintaining a pleasant disposition and positive attitude, keeping things clean, staying calm in chaotic situations, efficiently performing cashier and salesperson duties, selling shoppers quality merchandise reminiscent of simpler times
crackin baller guests: shitting on the toilets and constantly rude
also important, i love all ya’ll, and the Goddess loves you,
straight-up do not have it in me to be Present in this Moment, to exist in the physical plane, tonight’s topic is movies that were simultaneously good films and terrible adaptations of the source material, ill start ella enchanted (2004) was fun and im gay for anne h, but also what we got was 100% not ella enchanted
character: *is highly religious* me: that's me character: *is strongly aggrieved and bitter against religion* me: that's me
my first thoughts after finishing it: probably the best Gay Coming Of Age story that was (1) written by a dude married to a woman and (2) not a gay coming of age story and (3) not overtly gay at all . . . i #related
