A short cr fic

The candle flickered in a breeze as it stood on the cold window pane, Essik watched the curtains blow gently. He sighed and became conscious of his tapping. He has alot of work to go through and yet he allowed his mind to wander. He stoods up ,pacing around his study like has for the past 3 weeks, and in those 3 weeks there had been now report, no word from the blue tiefling girl,Jester. He never knew how much he could miss that groups' high energy and down right misciviouse aura. He was worried and he started to get his mantle and robe on, he would check up on them if they were home. He was about to call a guard to escort him when a bird flew into his room, and landed on the table. It was a large raven and it looked at him with intelligence he didn't expect.

"Shew, shew" he said and it hoped back a few paces ,cawed and left from where it came, he looked at is as it flew over the houses and untill he couldn't see it, "huh". Staying on task he turned and left the room.
