Let's talk about the three ways to use essential oils. I follow a three step system for safe essential use. 1. Aromatic use is the gentlest way to use essential oils, so start with Aromatic. We have a diffuser going all the time at our house. In many situations aromatic is all that is needed. Plus the oils smell divine! 2. The second way to use essential oils is Topical. Topical is a more powerful method than Aromatic, but still very safe. Be aware of hot oils, because they always need to be diluted before topical use. You should dilute all oils for children or sensitive skin. If you are concerned about dilution ratios, start with the @doterra Touch line (I can help you with that!). DōTERRA Touch oils are pre-diluted, and I carry them in my purse. Topical usage on the bottoms of the feet is highly effective. This is because the feet contain many reflex points and nerve endings. It is great to use oils topically morning and evening on a daily basis. You can reapply the oils through the day if needed. 3. Ingestion is the most powerful way to use essential oils. This can be very helpful, but should be the last step/least used method. I rarely ingest essential oils, because Aromatic and Topical usage are so highly effective. You should only ingest an oil if it clearly has a supplement facts label. Not all oils are safe for internal use. The Lifelong Vitality supplements are a way to ingest oils safely on a daily basis, because the amount is formulated into the vitamins. I have personally experienced wonderful results with Lifelong Vitality. Want to learn more about this, and not part of dōTERRA yet?
