The message reads "It's too hot to wear to the premiere, but you wanted to see it" with a ridiculous sunglasses emoji under it. If Pangi's heart had skipped before, he's certain it's stopped altogether now.

It's not until much later, after Pili has left and Derapchu is asleep downstairs, that Pangi gets to check his phone.

He'd text Lukey in the early morning, a quick "Good luck! Hope the premiere goes well, you're gonna smash it" - He'd rolled his eyes hard at using Lukey's turn of phrase - and gotten a "Thanks man! I'll call you tomorrow?" in reply.

He doesn't know what compels him to open Snapchat first, insted of Twitter, but he's not disappointed to see that Lukey has posted a story. He opens it and feels his heart skip.

Lukey is dressed in a sharp black suit, dark sunglasses, with a lopsided grin that makes Pangi feel like he's losing his mind.

He clicks out of the story to see a message from Lukey, and clicks the icon so fast he's glad no one's around to see.

The message reads "It's too hot to wear to the premiere, but you wanted to see it" with a ridiculous sunglasses emoji under it. If Pangi's heart had skipped before, he's certain it's stopped altogether now.

The photo attached is almost the same as the one posted to Lukey's public story, with the minor addition of a trench coat.

Pangi vaguely remembers mentioning in passing at the thrift store that he'd wanted to see Lukey in a trench coat, after he'd mentioned he'd packed one. He certainly hadn't expected Lukey to have remembered, let alone acted on it.

He pauses, before committing, and screenshots the photo. Not a second later a message comes through, "You know, if you wanted to save the photo, you could've just asked".

Pangi blushes, yet can't find it in himself to feel any shame, "Shut up," He replies, and in a moment of sincerity he'll later blame on the late hour he adds "You look good, you can't blame me for it".

When the phone rings a moment later, there's no hesitation in picking up.
