(b)est wishes for 2025 - est em's Shoku Rondo!
2024 be like...
Seldom Scans wishes everyone a new year that'll be better than the last. May you all discover new great manga, and may your favorite manga get a license in 2025!
So, about this "series" of est em... She first released 170℃ Kyousoukyoku one shot for Morning's 35th anniversary "Carnaval." After receiving a positive response, the magazine decided to serialize a food manga by est em. I have come across this manga that never got a volume release on MangaUpdates, and dug the raws from deadscanlations. My research tells me that this got 4 chapters before it mysteriously disappeared from Morning's pages:
170℃協奏曲 (Morning 2017/20)
鉄鍋夜曲 (Morning 2018/9)
マサラ追走曲 (Morning 2018/15)
ブレス狂詩曲 (Morning 2018/19)
We are starting with the third instalment, but since these are one shots, it'll be fine. Enjoy some curry and warm your hearts up!

Yagate, Ao ni Naru (Here Comes the Blues) by Est Em
I think all my fucked up taste got concentrated in loving Est Em's work. Like, that's the freak toll I paid for my lifetime and so the rest of my taste is pretty vanilla.
