So I gave it a shot, a quick trial test print and mock up. The original mock up of the 4th edition Warhammer box set house.

Went together very well, but the glue I was using was beginning to turn.

Printed a bit dark, so the colours were not quite right. A little bit of a box house, but could work well with several of them close together.

On my next attempt, I should have sorted out all the little problems.

In all I'm quite happy.

Warhammer 4th edition 3 way skirmish.

High Elves, Orcs & Goblins and my Estalians. Face off across the abandoned town.

The troops form up for battle!

I should have gestures there would be fanatics! His Gobo force looked a little small 😳

5 down to the spin of doom, but the Halflings take care of him.

Concentrated fire from the Estalian Hand Gunners and Archers followed by a well timed charge by my Spearmen brake the Gobo right flank.

The High Elf Spearmen shrug off Archer fire to charge in and destroy my Swordsmen. While the Elf Archers seem to have little effect on the Goblin horde!

The battle comes to a close with the Empire taking the town and seeing off the enemy!

Re-casting Estalian troops for my on going Warhammer Fantasy army build part 2.

I got so into sorting out the Troops I forgot I also had there shields!

All resin re-casts too. They are copies of the Empire sun shield but as they are used in the classic Estalian v Lizardmen diorama, I have adopted them as the shields for my army.

My Estalian army will be entirely based on this 5th edition Warhammer diorama.

Don Quixote!

This crazy old man in his rusted old armour will be leading my Estalian troops into battle!

This is the Mordheim wandering Knight. This is the first time I have truly painted rust and I am very happy with him. He has had some small conversations done to give him a truly Don Quixote vibe.

Re-casting Estalian troops for my on going Warhammer Fantasy army build.

I decided as this was taking way longer than I hoped, not to fill in any of the miscast parts.

All in all I think they turned out well.

Still many more to go and my original Estalian troops are only undercoated at the moment lol.

So it begins! The Estalian's are coming!

And they shall be lead by Don Quixote.

I have been slowly building this force for a while now. I have enough to be making and painting ready for battle.
