"They warned me about you, I should've listened." Mark Estapa x reader
“Where is Mark?” I ask Ethan who’s sitting on the couch watching something on his phone, he barely looks up at me and tells me he’s in his room before realizing it’s me and getting up from the couch to stop me from going upstairs and entering Mark's room.
“You can’t go in there.” Ethan tells me a few of the other guys on the couch nodding in agreement, I frown confused as to why I can't enter my boyfriend's room.
“Why?” I ask them and they all look panicked trying to come up with an excuse which makes me even more confused so I rip my arm out of Ethan’s grip and bolt up the stairs with the Canadian tight on my heels. I pull the door open to see Mark in bed with a blonde girl and I feel my heart stop, tears brimming in the corners of my eyes. A sob leaving my mouth turning Mark’s and the girls' attention to me, his eyes widening. He got up and started pulling his clothes on but I didn't want an explanation, I just walked down the stairs still in shock. My eyes fell on the other hockey players, they all had guilty looks on their faces and my heart shattered even more.
“Y- you knew, you all knew.” I state, the sentence being more a question than anything else, their gazes falling down to the floor which confirms my fear, a laugh mixed with a sob leaves my mouth as tears fall down my face. Mark comes running down the stairs, stumbling towards me trying to touch or hug me, I step away from him.
“Don’t- don’t touch me.” I tell him my voice slightly gives out as I try to keep distance between us.
“Please forgive me.” He begs and I let out a laugh in response, surprised with the nerve this boy has to even dare to ask for forgiveness.
“They warned me about you, I should've listened.” I bite towards the blond boy, my voice hard and cold, he flinches away and his eyes fill with heartbreak. I don’t spare him another glance and turn around, leaving the blond in his living room crying while his friends try to comfort him.
