The Doctor smiled walking through the TARDIS halls, they'd recently dealt with a new type of Dalek during WW2 and he hadn't seen a certain Time Lady in a bit... It wasn't like her to be alone all the time. A smile spread on his face as he found the door he'd been looking for. "Angel?" He asked, giving a small rhythmic knock.

"Do you wanna go on an adventure? Come on let's fly away! I never see you anymore, come on out the door it's like you've gone away! We used to be best mates, and now we're not. I wish you'd tell me why. Do you wanna go on an adventure? It doesn't have to be filled with danger."

"Doctor please just... Go away!" He heard from the other side of the door and he deflated slightly. "Okay bye..."

Time passed, they'd tangoed with the Dream Lord and yet once again The Doctor couldn't help but notice that Angel wasn't there. He smiled lightly, thinking that she must be napping seeing as she'd been awake the whole time the others were asleep. He walked up to her door and knocked again.

"Do you wanna go on an adventure? And save a planet or two? Let's go I think some company is over due, I've even gotten you a new companion! Isn't that right Rory? I'm feeling a bit confused now, standing here... You're always talking to him... I'm right over here you know! And I'm much more interesting!"

The Doctor walked through the halls of the TARDIS, they'd just left Demon Run, and Angel had locked her self in her room... He moved to knock but instead just rested his hand on the wood, putting his forehead to it soon afterward. "Angel?... Please I..." He began, his voice cracking just ever so slightly.

"I'm really very sorry, I can't believe what I've done. You've been all alone, and this is all my fault... But I'm here with you, from now on... They've taken our child.. Its just you and me... What are we gonna do?"

The Doctor slid to his knees, his hand still on the door as a tear fell down his cheek. "Do you wanna go on an adventure?" He asked, unsure of what else to do as in the room his Mate cried silently to herself...

That was wonderful :) I love the interpretation of the song and how well it fit with what Angel and the Doctor were going through :) It's especially fitting when you think of the Vortex in Angel as well :) I love it. Thanks so much! ^-^
