So in this spin off into new uncharted territory, does Oz/Harry go to boarding school and if so does he stay in school? I knew it had to happen because HP fanfic but sirius and remus not pulling Harry out after some of the shit always sits weird with me. My parents were hands off to the extreme and even they would have had second thoughtd after a teacher died alone with me possibly caused by me. Never mind the murder snake the following year.
Yeah, it’s a little improbable :D Fortunately once I get to the “hogwarts” years I don’t have to follow the books. I do still intend to have them send him to an exclusive magical boarding school, though. :D

Where you get fabric grab bag with such pretty fabric?
It’s from an Etsy shop called CottonCutsFabrics -- this is a fat quarter grab bag, but they have full yard grab bags too. The fabric is guaranteed to be from the last two years and new/unwashed cotton, and they ship pretty fast. I could just run around Etsy buying yards of fabric of my choice but I love the surprise and they’ve proven more reliable than some other shops I’ve bought from. And they’ve sent me a) about 90% really beautiful fabric and b) 10% fabric so hideous it comes back around to great, so I have no complaints. :D I’ve bought from them probably half a dozen times at this point.

Wouldn't unCourt be the equivalent of the Death Eaters? Like the Unseelie court? Muggles would be the peasantry.
Well, the Death Eaters are still Court -- ie, they’re still part of the magical world, whereas “unCourt” is a snobby euphemistic way of indicating a lack of magic, a sort of inferiority. Like, Arthur at one point asks Remus “You were born unCourt, weren’t you?” indicating he was muggleborn, and it’s considered a bit rude, but Remus just replies that his parents and grandfather were Court, but he was raised unCourt until he was eight or nine.
I haven’t named the Death Eaters yet, but I’m throwing around a couple of terms in my head. Voldemort is a bit different in this, his followers have a more intimate link to him and a lot of them were driven insane by his death, but I haven’t come up with a good name yet.
