One day out of the week, I might focus exclusively on drawing new pages of something. Drawing new pages is the main thing that requires mental work, so having pure focus on one project and ‘forgetting’ the other projects help keep my sanity. I want to explain that this crap, is why CPAU and AskError couldn’t POSSIBLY be written while doing Aftertale in Aftertale’s most IMPORTANT stages as well.And after I draw enough pages that need to update for that one thing (For example, 4 page minimum of Aftertale every week which def tends to take more then one day) if I have time and feel I am mentally stable enough to throw my mind into another project, I do it.For example, I might draw up my quota of Aftertale pages (example, 4-7 pages per week is my usual attempt) and if I have time left over, I will work on other projects in advance. I might sit down and draw 5 Gloomverse pages in a day, for example-- or maybe play around wiiiiith other projects that are not beginning yet for fun.So essentially, I only allow myself focus on one project at a time per a day in a week-- unless my MAJOR project is in a very plot-important section of the story, and then I will shove other obligations aside. Its why I stopped AskError and CPAU-- also overworking was killing me, that too.I just try not to pressure myself, and when I have free time I think ‘what would be FUN to do besides my main project?’ and I do that. Its why, for example, GV has no update schedule-- because that additional pressure on top of Aftertale is frankly nooot good for me.
