Thank you for that stunningly unemphatic exhibit, Callos. I am well aware that my thoughts are unjustified and due to my own nettlesome mentality; there is no need to remind me of what I already know.

You seem quick to trivialize me now, but I don’t think you have any right at all to dismiss my paranoia. Especially considering your past experiences with it surrounding a certain blue blood, hm?

You and I have already discussed this matter in great detail before, and I was grateful then for the way you handled me, but do not think for a second that that conversation magically cleared everything away.

The mention of the blue blood, whichever one he mentions, makes something burning simmer in your chest. If you could express humility, you’d probably be blushing. But you don’t, so instead you sneer. A nagging bout of fear starts to rear its ugly head in the pit of your stomach, and you’re not happy it’s there.

“I’d watch your tone, Throel. You should know well enough to never mention that caste in my presence! You tread on dangerously thin ice with your jabs.”

“If I don’t see the problem, and you don’t tell me about this one that is apparently growing by the moment, how could you ever expect me to fix anything? I’m not a psychic, that’s not my strong suit, so I suggest you start using your mouth for something other than demonizing me to any ear that would listen and speak with me directly.”
