Do you know where I can find a video of the ending credits for the pilot on season one? Thanks!
Personally, I've never came across a Youtube video of ONLY these ending credits. Someone else might have and I would love for them to share this video w/ us. My best advice: Watch the pilot episode either online (Project Free TV website is wonderful for this purpose) or on the dvds (if you have them) and fast forward to these credits. Pay very clue attention to the images that flash by really quickly in these credits. Some of these images will help you understand the show even more. I'll tell you two images in particular
1. You will see a very quick flash from the never-aired (and NOT INCUDED ON THE DVDS) Tate/Albino 4th child scene in the credits. Remember the baby dolls hanging from the ceiling in these credits? These baby dolls have to do w/ the Tate/Albino 4th child scene. Ryan discusses the 4th child very briefly in the pilot commentary on the dvds. He said that they cut this scene b/c they thought it would have been one too many creatures.
go-westfield wolverines posted photos from this deleted scene. What you will see flash by really quickly in the credits is the 2nd photo.

If you do not want to look at all these photos in go-westfield-wolverines post, then here's the actual photo of which one you will see in the credits.
Darkdhalia took these photos and made it into a GIF that gives us an idea of how this scene might have played out. Here's darkdhalia's gif:
2. You will see the following image flash by really quickly as well. This should remind you of Tate's 1st appt. w/ Ben when he sees himself covered in blood behind Ben. The blood pattern you see on his face is very similar (if not exactly the same) and is meant to let you know that this is the same person and also to the fact that he actually did the shoot shooting scene that he was discussing in the appt. w/ Ben.
The TAINT scene is just meant as a clue to reinforce the fact that Tate is dead. TAINT- Tate AIN'T -Tate isn't alive. He's dead and maybe this little TAINT word on the chalkboard was kind of like his way of trying to tell Violet the truth about being dead.
Hope this answers you question!
