There was a movie playing in the background in his living room, but it wasn’t receiving much attention. Steve and Persephone were tangled together on the couch in an affectionate embrace, exchanging slow, soft kisses. The intensity of their kisses occasionally elevated, but it generally slowed back down after a moment or two. When her chin tilted up a bit as they kissed, Steve had a decision to make regarding whether or not he would cross a particular line. With a hope that Persephone would appreciate his actions, he moved his mouth and began to kiss a slow line down the column of her throat.
