PSA about drafts

So my draft count (84) became overwhelming again, so i went ahead and deleted a lot of stuff. Below, I’ll list what I kept, but first I just want to say - if I didn’t keep your thread, please don’t be personally offended or upset by it. It’s got nothing to do with you - my draft count was getting overwhelmingly high for me and a lot of people’s were deleted for various reasons. Just know that i’m okay with starting something else with you, I promise.

To be honest Hilda wasn't sure whether or not she should just leave.

The Interpol agent had been standing at the front desk of the library for a good few minutes already and the woman had not so much as turned to look at her. She had heard that this woman - Bonnie Cartwright, if her sources were to be believed - had assisted in some local cases before and was a valuable resource on any mission.

That being said, Alfendi Layton wasn't the most reliable source. It was slowly occurring to Hilda that she might have been set up for a rather elaborate and very childish prank.

"Excuse me?" She called again, not for the first time. "Do you have a moment, miss?" 

If the lady behind the desk didn't reply soon, Hilda was going to march right back to Scotland Yard and strangle a certain red haired inspector.
