I know it’s been, like, forever and a half and I’m sorry I’ve been away so long. Life is crazy, I’m doing my best to keep up.

In terms of when things should slow down, though, I suspect I’ll have free time once again either at the end of this month or the beginning of next month, depending on how soon I can get a car. If you want more details or if you just generally wanna chat, you can message me off anon for my personal account and we can talk there.

Mun Update

Hey everyone! 

First of all, I just wanted to let you all know that I’m not dead. Things have just been really busy lately, and I haven’t been able to log on because of that.

In a nutshell, I’m got a new job, I’m trying to find a car, I’m in the process of moving, and I’m spending as much free time as I can with my best friend IRL, who’s moving away at the end of this semester, so needless to say I’ve been a bit stressed and haven’t had time to RP at all. That being said, things should calm down around late May/early June, so I’ll try to be back on then, okay?

Semi-Hiatus Notice

In case it’s not obvious, I have been really busy lately and life is once again catching up with me. On top of that, mental illnesses are being a bitch and I can’t quite seem to connect with my muses. For both of those reasons, I’m going to be stepping back from roleplaying until I’ve had time to recover.

I’ll still probably be on and lingering so if you want to shoot me a message feel free, but I likely won’t be replying to threads all that often until I’ve gotten out of this funk (that being said, I may occasionally reply to one out of the blue, if I have the muse and don’t want to waste it. If it’s not for our thread, though, please understand that I still love you and I’m not specifically ignoring you.).

Oh god, her head was swimming. Something was wrong. There was so much pain, so much confusion…

She should have known what was happening. She always knew what was happening. It was her job to stay on top of things, or at least, she was pretty sure that it was.... wasn’t it?

In the haze of pain and confusion, she simply stared up at the man leaning over her. He seemed so concerned. Why was he so afraid? Were they friends or something?

“Go, go!” Hilda urged her companion forward, a childish grin on her face.

Somewhere deep down she recognized that she wasn’t really herself right now. She wasn’t the type to pull a prank like that at a wedding or run away from the scene of the “crime,” especially not with Alfelf--Alefd--Inspector Layton.

Huh. What a weird name he had.She had never noticed calling him “Inspector” all the time. Who names their kid Alfendi anyway? 

“Quick, here!” Hilda almost tripped over her feet and all but slid into her newfound hiding spot beneath the windowsill, pulling her companion down with her.

She let out a laugh, barely noticing how cold it was outside in her wine induced mirth. “Do you think they’re following us?” She asked, unable and unwilling to wipe the grin off of her face.

Being unable to catch the bad guy.

Certainly, the thought scares her. The inability to ensure that justice is served is something that frightens everyone on the force to a certain degree (or so she thinks). Still, she is rather sure of herself and trusts her abilities, so this doesn’t haunt her very much.

Alfendi has been trying to convince Hilda to change her attire ever since the two of them met, claiming that wearing white to a crime scene is practically asking for trouble.

His secondary reasoning (the reasoning that he conveniently forgets to mention every time the topic arises) is that her arse looks far too good in that skirt, and seeing her in it every day is becoming detrimental to his health.
