Is isaak really a human or a vampire??

Isaak isdefinitely no vampire / Methuselah. (He can go out to the sun (Silent Noise,Apocalypse Now), he is never called vampire or Methuselah by the author unlikeother vampires, but he is called Terran by others like Helga.) He seems to behuman, however not a normal human but immortal.

Heregenerates and resurrects in just a few minutes (Radio Head, The SacrificialLamb (ROM 6), City of Fog (ROM 6), Apocalypse Now) but it’s never mentioned ordescribed how it happens unlike others (crusniks, vampires, dead soldiers ofMary, tuned ones). We usually just see him a bit later unharmed again (ExceptRadio Head where he emerges from out of Dietrich’s shadow after his brain wasblown away).

Some of hisspecial features (just like his weapons or the ability to feel no pain) are connectedto a chip in his body, but the resurrection seems to be connected to this weirdblack liquid called his “shadow”. By the hints of the author it seemsthat he lives since ages and his first personality may be XuFu who was sent tofind the elixir of life but he disappeared. If his personalities are real wecan assume that XuFu(-Isaak) have found the elixir of life which is this blackliquid, his “shadow”.

Ps: Ialways wanted to write an essay about him and the hints for his immortality foreternity just like for example the legend of the wandering eternal Jew (Isaac Laquedem by Alexandre Dumas). Maybe one day I can postit.And sorry for the late answer but I wanted to write a proper text.

He recorded most of his first album in a closet an hasn’t looked back since, “performing at open mic’s was only the beginning” he said. This is how he met his now manager Nate Eaton.
