"ethan x alabaster" "alabaster x ethan"
no. no i'm not accepting that.
ethan x percy where they were genuinely building up to being friends before the events of the lightning thief. ethan x percy where ethan left just before the events of ttc and had alabaster put the mist on percy so he could forget that they were ever close (a boy who has the hamartia of loyalty would have sided with the titans just to be close to someone he considered dear, and ethan is not greedy, as a son of balance). ethan x percy where ethan has to betray someone he cared for himself over and over to the point where percy stops wondering why he's so attached to ethan in the first place because there's no way he actually cared for ethan that much. ethan x percy where after having lou ellen take a look at him, she takes away most of the mist and now percy's stuck with the realisation that not only has he actually lost someone but that someone actively(?) manipulated him. ethan x percy where percy is already at the point where he can't step out of the pedestal he put himself on and can no longer run to where ethan is. ethan x percy but they're doomed to never be together out of reckless selflessness.
alabaster x luke. alabaster x luke where alabaster has to watch as the man he loved so viscerally tears himself apart one piece by one piece. alabaster x luke where the man he feels so deeply for is slowly rotting from the inside out, and he can't do anything to stop it. alabaster x luke where he learns hatred like a second language because even though he was all for supporting luke, he found himself more and more familiar with that desperation inside the eyes of perseus jackson. alabaster x luke where he cried himself to sleep thinking about being so traitorous in wanting luke to stop sacrificing himself as a vessel, because that means their cause can't go through and he would only end up betraying the man he wants. alabaster x luke where one is dead and the other is halfway there.
anyways thanks for watching i say as i get pelted with tomatoes onstage.
