About his relationship w/ Georgie

Friendship: Seeing as they were born about a month apart and their dads were so close Georgie is the first real friend Ethan had after his sister. They both grew us very reserved and quiet awkward but still had each other. Ethan really hated school because he was away from Georgie until Grover agreed to put him in school when he was 8. This is where they learned all about the wonder of the internet. Where Ethan didn’t have to be shy and Georgie didn’t appear disabled to everyone around him.

Romantic: They had been friends their whole lives. The relationship is actually quite new (about 2 months). But to them, it feels like forever. Ethan has always known he was gay and told Georgie first (they were 14. It scared him but having role models like Nico & Will was helpful. Knowing that his parents would be supportive. Georgie actually never came out to Ethan. They were having their weekly sleepover and Ethan had fallen asleep on Georgie’s shoulder while he played Mario cart. It was very soft and also it was 3 am. But then Ethan woke up and just kind looked up at Georgie and it was just oh so soft and Georgie just fucking kissed him. They were both kinda shocked. Then been dancing around each other for a while and then everything just kinda made sense. They fell asleep against each other and when Georgie saw Ethan the next day for lunch he gave him a rose and a D20 and that was it. He was gone. The poor boy was wiped ™. Hattie was the first to find out and it was eventful. She looked at both of them very seriously said that she was proud and she loved them both and then proceeded to call Ethan furry for the next week. Increasingly enough they did have conversations about Stayer biology and such. Ethan actually quite liked Gegorgie’s bottom half because he was warm and when they played games he would sit in-between Gegorgie’s legs. They had this conversation one that Georgie swears is the best conversation they’ve ever had wear in the middle of watching a movie Ethan turned to him and was like “omg Geo I AM a furry”. Telling their parents was an ordeal in and of itself. Of course, Annabeth and juniper were immediately very supportive but when they told their dad’s they just kinda looked at each other for a bit.
