EFF Submission

What really scares me the most is that Congress is Republican. He will be "reigning" with no checks and balances. I know this almost broke the Reps, but don't think they won't use this opp to repress Immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQ persons, African Americans, Latinos, but more scary than all of that is what women in the US are going to endure. It's a real possibility that Roe vs. Wade could be overturned by a Rep. Supreme Court. The man said he thought women who have abortions should be punished!

Sorry, I hit the wrong key I'm so angry. I wonder what those "I'm voting against Hillary because she stole it from Bernie" voters are going to be feeling come January when the total antithesis of Bernie, comes into power? There he'll be with his finger on the trigger and the ability to nuke the whole fucking world who doesn't agree with his KKK world view. At least I can say I *tried* to keep him out of office. Tell me, does Bernie like what you've done in his name?

I still haven't thoroughly digested this, but I am not only gut sick, I'm heart sick. This is not the country I grew up in even though I was born in the south. These are not the ideals I stood for. This is not the democracy I believed in. These are not the rights I marched for. This is not my country, and I don't know where I am anymore. We were a great nation, and now bigots will destroy it. I've never been so sad. What will my granddaughters face now?

I'm as upset as any decent person would be. I've written asks about it. However, I would take some of those posts about how America turned racist and violent overnight with a big serving of salt. There have been protests and marches (peaceful so far) by people who hate what happened to us, but you know trumblr and some of the things written here that are posted by trolls trying to instigate trouble. We haven't heard of any of the instances posted here and the liberal press would be on it asap.

I’m still trying to process it all and my civil rights are not even the least bit affected by the American vote @ethanfromefan...  Personally, I believe he’s going to be reined in on geopolitical issues, but that still doesn’t change the fact that the whole world is looking at a long recession down the line.  Neither does it change the fact that he’s going to appoint whoever he feels like to the Supreme Court which will indubitably affect the civil rights of Americans.

The racism?  It just makes me heartsick...

I honestly can’t cope with what I’ve been reading and watching for the past 2 days here and on the media (both American and domestic).  This is just wrong on all levels...

You made a congratulations post on the engagement. That’s fine. You changed your mind. Overnight you went from, -don’t push cumberbabies, even though we want them- to wishing he was with Lupita- to saying he was compliant with the sham.

There is nothing wrong with holding people to a higher standard. There is nothing wrong with walking through a museum and admiring the paintings. Some people are entitled to only see pretty pictures and not the anguish of Van Gough’s madness. Some people see both.

I am going to develop a gift of foresight here. The person now known as wikianon will be revealed to be at least one of, not only a nannie blog, but the most derogatory of the them. The anti-skeptics, the ones who keep giving away personal information about skeptics. I’d make a guess at the name but if it was right I might get called a witch. And I’m certainly not from Hungary.
