Qrow Branwen + Winter Schnee.

The question all my followers ask themselves every day

Live long and prosper, my friend, for sending me this. I literally just got the excuse to talk a shit ton of Snowbird.

Clearly, romantic. Where can I begin? ;u;

I had written a very long answer, about their complimented personalities, their tropes, where their tropes match and where their tropes end. But I’ll just cut it short and make it succinct, focusing on something I realized when I started writing this and not on their aesthetic.

They can give each other what they want/need.

Winter is the start of the stoic, cold, steel soldier trope, but she is not the end of it; she goes beyond that. Qrow is the one to bring her to the edge and to make her fight; they know each other and he knows how she works and what to do, how much to press until she reacts. Winter can’t be cold all the time and she can’t hold all of her feelings forever, Qrow knows it and could help her letting it out.

Meanwhile, he is sort of left behind and pushed away by everyone; Summer died, Raven left, Tai is mad at him for whatever reason, and the girls are eventually going to leave him too; they have their own lives. But, if Winter chose to stay with him, taking in account everything (i mean his semblance but i refuse to acknowledge it), she WOULD stay, as far as she can control. She would stay because she loves him, not because she needs him for something specific, or because she was obligated to.

Basically Winter needs to release her emotions and Qrow needs someone who’d stay, and they could give it to each other. Not only that, but their personalities complete each other and they just work out. Goddamn, even their colors work out.

AND IT WAS MEANT TO BE CANON.
