The reasons why I’m not feeling super confident about United’s chances tonight are historical and tactical: we’ve struggled against Spanish teams in the past (see recent example of Sevilla) and we don’t deal with ground crosses into the box well at all, which is their bread and butter (see recent examples of United/Sevilla and Arsenal/Villareal). 😬
Also, Niño and Alcácer are on the bench, which means they’re coming on when we’re tired. I’ve been following Niño since day one, his variant movement could give us trouble. Here’s hoping the back line stays tight. 🙏🏾
