It's not often that I get super hyped about a new book coming out. I don't have a lot of time for reading these days! But I literally cannot wait to get my hands on @ettawritesnstudies upcoming book. Runaways has everything you could want; complicated sibling relationships, faeries, tricksters, lore that makes you desperately want to learn more about the world, and the chance to discover who you are on a level you didn't even know needed to be discovered.

Plus, the Oldest Sibling Syndrome with the MC is soooooo much fun to read about!

@ettawritesnstudies I fell so far behind on your art, I knew I wouldn't be able to catch up...so I commissioned @angelsradio-333 to draw Cecilia for you this month!

(i'll make you something super cool next month now that the 'oh wow i'm so behind' feeling has been a bit alleviated!)

Merry Christmas, Etta!

I haven't drawn anything in months. Someone whose art I greatly admire has recently stopped drawing because their art is 'bad' and 'not good enough'. It got under my skin for some reason. All I could think was, damn, if they think their art is terrible, I must be really awful...and ended up just not picking the tablet back up.

But drawing Cecelia for you this Christmas seemed like the perfect way for me to break my Weird Headspace Streak. So, enjoy the first thing I've drawn since August. : )

@ettawritesnstudies I was supposed to have this for you days ago but! here's Cecilia and Levi! I thought it would be fun to draw them both together since they're 'oddities' in their stories!

Cecilia belongs to Etta, and Levi is my kid from Howl!
