Here's a Klaus lived scenario for you: Klaus trying to give Lizzie the shovel talk but she keeps interrupting him. Not that Klaus would try to be intimidating all that hard, he would obviously have a soft spot for Lizzie, but he still considers having The Talk his DutyTM, and she just won't let him live.

OMG.

This would be hilarious to witness especially since Klaus is incapable of being mean to any daughter of Caroline Forbes. And Lizzie is very much Caroline Forbes' daughter.

At first, Lizzie would be intimidated because this is Klaus Mikaelson but what helps her is remembering this photo Hope showed her:

And then Lizzie turns the tables on Klaus because she actually has a shovel talk cataloged, in binders, and alphabetized from severity.

Lizzie is going to out shovel talk Klaus about her own mother and Klaus is quickly realizing he is out of his depth. Because Lizzie is like Caroline but on Turbo Boost.

Hope, sensing something has happened witnesses Klaus staring at Lizzie, shellshocked. And there's Hayley and Elijah with popcorn because they weren't going to let Klaus do the shovel talk alone, she knows how he goes overboard.

But the moment Lizzie dropped a binder in front of Klaus, Hayley knew Lizzie was going to be fine.

Hope (cautiously): What happened?

Hayley: (grinning, this was the most fun she's had) Your girlfriend is going to fit in just fine.

Elijah: Yes, Elizabeth will fit in splendidly.

Hope: Gee, thanks for the approval, Uncle Elijah.

(LOL. I made it an assumption Hayley and Elijah also lived but Hope is still not fond of her uncle Elijah. It's hilarious).
