Friend! I would love to hear about Kit and how you came up with such a beautiful character! I adore him.

This is something I could easily go into depth in for a behind the scenes look another time, but the short of it is that he was my Bloodborne OC before I rewrote him into my own universe, (a sprawling thing I call the "Mistwalker" verse)!

If you've known me for a very, very long time, you may remember my main story from that verse: Eudemon. Kit has no connection to it and is just a tiny slice of the same universe that, hopefully, I'll be able to tell more stories from in the future!

Gabriel, the white king and Caelorum, the black mage of House Selene in Eudemon. Yes, it was more of a fantasy project and yes, I would change a lot about it if I ever went back to it.

Hecatia tries to introduce the concept of eudaemons to Gensokyo just to see what it'll do to the ecosystem. "Queering the youkai/god binary" (even though they're basically minor-deity-shaped in the source mythology, right?). Okina insists that yeah, within Gensokyo's frame of reference, they're just really minor gods. Meanwhile Kasen and Byakuren are getting starry-eyed, each for entirely different reasons. Marisa, deliberately misinterpreting the debate, declares herself a "magician god" except on the same level as i.e. Shizuha so she has to do all her magic manually.

Introducing Asa!

I finally got around to making a character sheet for my OC Asa, and now I’m ready to share her with the world. If you read Walking Wounded, you already know a little about her.

Demon form and more under the cut!

-She was a fan of Mammon before coming to HoL and had a collection of his magazine appearances. Yes, she fangirled a bit when she met him.

-As an empath, Asa is very sensitive to other people’s emotions and therefore gets uncomfortable in large gatherings, as they overwhelm her.

-She can be a psychic vampire or manipulate your emotions, but she doesn’t like to use those powers. Typically she can only be provoked into it by hurting someone she loves.

-She counts Aisling as her first real friend.

-She was abused by her family because they felt being an eudemon made her weak. 

-Because of this, she thinks of the brothers and Aisling as her “real” family, and is fiercely protective of them. 

-She’s definitely gotten a lot more bold and sassy since coming to stay with the brothers. She mostly credits Aisling and Asmo for that. 

-She is a human world therapist, though depending on how you meet her (fic or RP) she may not have reached that point yet.

I joke that this is one of the most boring things I’ve ever written, but its simplicity and major mode at least fit Sanya’s honest and hopeful personality. The introduction is actually based off an old old version that I wrote in high school (and is basically the only thing that survives in this one!) This was originally in G major to fit with my key symbolism scheme, but I like this version (D major) better because it’s not pitched as high on the piano.

“Sanya” was a petname for “Aleksandr” from when he was little, and it just stuck with him. His siblings call him either Sanya or Sander (it doesn’t help that they’re several decades older than him and still consider him a baby).
