My favorite thing about Eugene is that even though he’s constantly bombarded by terrible luck, he never gives up hope or gives into despair. He feels sadness, frustration, disappointment, etc, and he does reach points of wanting to give up. But he doesn’t let those feelings keep him down--he always finds a way to see the bright side. He fights back against life’s struggles with a genuine optimism and cheerfulness and then spreads that hope to those around him. ^_^ <3

Dandelions mean strength in adversity, so I feel like they’d be one of Eugene’s favorite flowers. ^_^

This is my drawing for the For Fans by Fans Hey Arnold Design Contest! ^_^ If it wins Box Lunch will make a t-shirt out of it! :D 

I did a watercolor painting of Eugene spreading his positive outlook! ^_^ The line keep your sunny side up comes from his song in Eugene Eugene, and the rainbow is a symbol of hope to match his song about hope in Stuck in a Tree. ^_^
